20+ years as a rubber technologist — designing, prototyping and manufacturing moulded and extruded components, including rubber-to-metal bonded parts, in Silicone, EPDM, FKM, NBR, CR and SBR. An engineer first: he formulates the compound to the hardness, temperature and chemical resistance an application needs, reverse-engineers a part from a worn sample, and designs for manufacture before a tool is cut. Solves the sealing, vibration and import-substitution problems where standard catalogue parts won't do — for electrical, lighting, switchgear and industrial OEMs.
